Hi, I'm Sri, the founder of akasam.

As a recent graduate, I found myself at a crossroads. The expected next step was a corporate job, climbing the career ladder and following a path that had already been laid out. But I knew I wanted to try something different. I wanted the freedom to create, explore my own ideas and build something meaningful from the ground up.

I've always admired people who take a chance on their ideas, especially business owners who pour so much of themselves into what they create. As I began exploring product development, manufacturing and sourcing, I became fascinated by what it actually takes to turn an idea into a finished product. I also started to realise how complicated that journey can be when you don't have the right connections, resources or experience.

That's where the idea for akasam came from.

For me, akasam is about understanding someone's vision, finding creative and practical ways forward, and helping them build something they're proud to call their own.

And in many ways, that's exactly what I'm doing myself, building something from an idea, one step at a time.
